The birthplace of Selena was the city of Grand Prairie in Texas on July 22, 1992. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Selena's mother, Amanda Cornett was 16 years old when Selena was born. Her first professional showbiz job at age 9 when she played Gianna in Barney and her Friends. Thus, she was one of several children to play with Barney, the famous Pink Dinosaur, an anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena contributed to several episodes in seasons 7 and 8.
