Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984 is a stand-up comedian and actor recognized for her witty sense of humor. She is April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. Her debut came on The Jeannie Tate Show which is a web-based series, after performing improv comedy and sketches at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. In her later career she went on to star in Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and the World. Make sure to celebrate her birthday! Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington in Delaware) is the child of Bernadette Plaza who is an lawyer by trade and David Plaza a financial consultant. She is the daughter of Puerto Rican parents and an English-Irish mother. Plaza was a graduate of an Catholic all-girls college in 2002. She then attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in the year 2006. She was president of her high school's student government and was a part of Wilmington Drama League productions during her senior year. Plaza suffered a stroke in 2004 when she was studying at a the college. The stroke caused her to develop expressive aphasia. She also experienced a brief period of paralysis. The patient is fully recovered. Plaza has been performing sketch and improv in the New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two venues located in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed stand-up comedy. Plaza was seen in the role of Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show and in the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. In CollegeHumor Troopers, she played a satirical science-fiction character called the Princess. Plaza was first seen playing saxophone alongside Cassorla's Bona Fide. But she made her debut in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings' in 2012. HarmonQuest featured Plaza in the year 2016 as Hawaiian Coffee the gnome. In the same year, she played Aaron Burr on Drunk History as well as Cat Adams during Season 11 C.B.S. the television series Criminal Minds. In Season 12, she made a successful comeback in the role. A year later it was revealed that Plaza was to appear on the indie comedy An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
